In this post, you will assume the character of Keith Basso (or another fictional anthropologist) and will write a post explaining why the destruction of sacred sites would be harmful to the Apache people, their culture, and way of life. Drawing on evidence from the ethnography Wisdom Sits in Places, as well as assigned videos and online resources, your post should explain why protecting sacred places is crucial to the protection and continuity of Apache culture, and why the mining project would be particularly harmful to Apache youth.
