1) Discuss verbal and nonverbal communication in women, including interruptions, tentativeness, affiliative vs. assertive speech, smiling, posture, and interpersonal distance 2) Discuss how women and nonbinary individuals are treated in language, including misgendering, infantilizing, and male as normative 3) Discuss how sexist language is used in job advertisements 4) Provide examples of how individuals can use nonsexist language (please use chapter 5 for this assignment)
