Your essay cannot be solely focused on personal experiences or personal reflection. There is an element of this, and some of this is of course helpful and necessary, but I am going to look for multiple ways in which you are engaging with course material in your paper. You have read several books, articles, engaged with several videos – leverage what is significant for the claims you are making in your paper.
The student is to develop a treatise that addresses the following questions in a creative and coherent manner:
What is my guiding metanarrative? What is the narrative that I have chosen to live my life by? Describe or tell the overarching story you have chosen to align your life towards?
How does this narrative change the way I view God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit? What are different ways this course and your experiences have changed the way you view, understand and experience the Trinity?
Why is this the narrative I have chosen to live my life by? What is the data, evidence and experiences that you have chosen to rely upon as trustworthy sources to determine the veracity of your metanarrative? Why do you depend upon these sources for truth?
How does this narrative change the way I live life? This is the main, “So What?” of this course and this assessment. How does your metanarrative exhibit evidence that it affects your daily life, your relationships, your vocation, decision making, worldview, etc.?
